Chris Frank is pursuing a PhD in Sociology and a Masters in Public Policy at Stanford University. Within Sociology, he specializes in social psychology and economic sociology, and his previous research has focused on the social determinants of health. While taking classes in public policy over the past year, he and Aman became interested in the problem of misaligned incentives in campaign finance (which became the principal inspiration behind TopCorner.org). Born and raised in Juneau, Alaska, Chris holds a BA in Sociology from Cornell University and worked as a health care market researcher at SKIM Analytical in Hoboken, New Jersey before arriving at Stanford. When he’s not busy reading papers on social theory, Chris enjoys trail running, rock climbing, snowboarding, playing soccer, and making up for all those years in the cold by spending time outside.
